Dutch Marquetry Lady's Desk, late 18th century, fruitwood, serpentine top and sides, the inlaid top depicting a bird perched atop an urn of flowers, some tulips and foliate scrolls, shell-carved knees on cabriole legs terminating in claw feet, ht. 29 1/4, wd. 30, dp. 20 in.
Veneer dry, cracking, with scattered lifting, chipped losses and small patches throughout. Some elements of edge molding chipped off, some pieces present (including right corner). Restorations along leg joints (see images). Crack to right side panel.
