Four Dutch Side Chairs, 19th century, each walnut and fruitwood with shell-form crest rail, baluster-form inlaid splat, serpentine seat with carved pendant apron, acanthus carved legs with shell detail surmounting claw-and-ball leg, ht. 44 1/8 in.

One chair has a broken leg which was repaired, others are showing signs of restoration to veneer on splats, and another chair with possible restoration to leg near foot. Overall signs of wear and use.
