Pair of Gilt and Patinated Bronze Empire Vases, France, late 19th century, each amphora-style urn with vinework encircling the neck, with steer masks and foliate garland at shoulders, frieze of figures in a landscape, all suspended by bearded figural monopodia wearing headdresses, on tripartite base, ht. 12 1/2 in.
Good condition overall; some wear to rim of each, some wear to gilding, and nicks and light abrasions to tripartite base. Signs of wear consistent with age and use.
