Pair of Anglo-Portugeuse Chippendale-style Chairs, late 18th century, each with overall carved crest rail, fretwork splat with rosettes and diamond-shaped central cartouche, curviate-shaped stretcher, rocaille knees atop curved legs terminating in ball and claw feet, ht. 41 in.
Signs of wear, abrasions to ears, stretchers, overall. Some nicks to back, legs, stretcher.
