Description:

Two Tudor-style Oak Boxes, England, 19th century, one with carved tulip and vine front, ht. 7 1/2, wd. 24; the other with chamfered lid projecting over case, ht. 9 3/4, wd. 20 3/4 in.
Estimate $200-300

box with chip carving has large patches and gouges to the lid and cracks to the back. The other box is with minor loss to the molding
