Austria's 'separate' proposition. Signed "Louis Raemaekers." l.l., titled on the mat l.l., inscribed and dated "To Miss Mary Rupert.../...18 Dec. 1921 Brussels/..." on the mat l.r. Charcoal and watercolor on paper, sight size 15 x 13 1/2 in., framed. Condition: Scattered minor foxing, toning, not examined out of frame.
Provenance: From the artist to Mary Rupert (1921), to the current owner by family descent.
Full inscription on the mat at lower right reads, "To Miss Mary Rupert, in remembrance of/her visit to my studio. 18 Dec. 1921 Brussels/Louis Raemaekers"
