Regency-style Double-pedestal Dining Table and Six Chairs, England, 19th century, mahogany, tabletop with inlaid banding and baluster-form double base, reeded splay legs terminating in metal paw feet with casters, ht. 30 1/2; one armchair with shaped crest rail and narrow fan splat, and five side chairs of similar form, ht. 38 5/8 in.
Dining table in good overall condition with age-typical abrasions, nicks to legs, etc. Chairs with numerous profession restorations; still stable. Several with repaired splats or minor cracks to splats. Armchair and two side chairs with restored crest-rail. One side chair with repaired break to back leg, another with repaired crack. Otherwise some minor nicks and abrasions. 84 1/4 inches long and 37 7/8 inches wide.
