Louis XVI-style Vernis Martin Display Cabinet, France, late 19th/early 20th century, gilt-metal mounted, the upper section with framed glass door, opens to reveal velvet lined interior with two glass shelves, lower case panels decorated with 18th century-style fête galante scenes, ht. 73 1/2, wd. 38, dp. 20 in.
Scattered abrasions and nicks to surfaces, particularly on edges, some signs of wear to painted scenes, mainly front of cabinet. Rubbing to bronze ornaments.
