George II Sterling Silver Tankard, London, 1752-53, William Shaw & William Priest, maker, baluster-form, with domed lid, circular foot, and engraved armorial, ht. 7 3/4 in., approx. 25 troy oz.
Estimate $1,000-1,500

Embossed decoration possibly later. Foot rim with scattered dents to edge, still sits flat. Scattered pin prick dents to underside (not visible) from exterior. Minor surface wear.
