Renaissance Revival Horner-type Partners' Desk, America, last quarter 19th century, with three Knapp-jointed drawers with chip carved relief and acanthus scrolls, each with centralized figural masks on each, right side cabinet with armorial shield, all supported by heavily carved griffin monopodia with large claw feet, ht. 30, wd. 60, dp. 40 in.

Top has been refinished, appears shiny, but with vertical scratches across top. Surface abrasions/stains/surface grime to writing surface. Some of carved ornamentation surrounding desktop also appears shiny in areas. Surface grime in areas around drawers, underneath, signs of wear, some nicks overall to sides, drawer fronts, carvings.
