Description:

Six George III Mahogany Side Chairs, England, early 19th century, with carved crest rail with floral and foliate scrolls, rosette-carved ears, reticulated baluster-form splat, acanthus carved knee terminating in claw-and-ball foot, ht. 37 3/4 in.

N.B. Property sold to benefit the Worcester Art Museum, Worcester, Massachusetts.
Estimate $400-600

One splat is missing components, another with cracks to splat, reglued, needs securing; joints on some need tightening. Some splits to wood, abrasions, overall signs of wear. Corner blocks on some have been replaced or have been repaired, need securing. See images.
