Regency Giltwood and Part-ebonized Girandole Mirror, early 19th century, with inset circular, convex mirror with a reeded border, pendant foliate apron, and foliate crest with eagle, ht. 40 1/2 in.
Scattered chips, cracks, and losses to gilded surface. Some scattered retouches to gilding. Out-stretched eagle wing separate but present (previously taped in place). Apron and crest re-stabilized with screws and brackets (see images), minor restorations masked by over-painting to reverse. Small break to reeded border.?
