Pair of Empire-style Gilt-bronze Two-light Sconces, France, 19th century, each has modeled eagle armature with tasseled chain suspended from beak holding aloft two lights with fluted drip cups, all mounted on a backplate with patinated hexagonal plaque and ormolu dog's head, surrounded by beaded festoons, and terminating at base with acanthus foliate scroll and grapevine, ht. 14 3/4 in.
