Description:

Four Painted Icons, late 19th/early 20th century, three self-framed Greek icons: each probably elements of a larger devotional centerpiece, two with depicting figures crying against a gilded background, in a carved and gilded frame, ht. to 22, the third depicting a child, possibly Christ in an oval frame, ht. 17 1/2; and an icon depicting the crowned Mother of God with the Christ child surrounded by various saints and angels on a gilded ground, ht. 19 3/8 in.
