Orthodox Icon Triptych probably Russia, late 19th/early 20th century, topped with stepped capital, the closed doors painted with a cross and inscription, opening to the central icon depicting "The Sign Mother of God," each of the demilune wings depicting two saints, ht. 13 3/4, closed wd. 9 3/8, open wd. 19 in.
