Dresden Porcelain Vase and Cover, Germany, late 19th century, Carl Thieme Saxonian porcelain factory, gilded and decorated in polychrome enamels, the cover with putti flanking a crown and armorial crest, resting atop sprays of flowers, baluster-form body with twin winged putti handles at floral and fruited shoulders, body with classical scene with warrior, the plinth with shaped apron, floral swags, and scroll feet, with factory mark, ht. 35 in.
