Staffordshire White Salt-glazed Stoneware Teapot and Cover, England, c. 1765, globular shape with molded crabstock handle and spout, allover blue enamel ground polychrome enamel decorated with roses, ht. 4 3/4 in.
Cover: Numerous shallow chips surrounding rim.
Pot: Top rim with chips of 3/8 and 5/8 and with additional small nicks. Inner rim with numerous small chips. 2 3/4" rim hairline. Lower lip of spout chipped off.
