Kashmir Long Shawl, North India, mid-19th century, the empty black keyhole medallion surrounded by sweeping bent-tip "boteh" enclosed by a contiguous undulating black and ivory vine pattern with large palmettes, all within a curled vine and blossoming palmette border, 9 ft. 8 in. x 4 ft. 4 in.
