Kashan Carpet, Central Persia, second quarter 20th century, the ivory and terra-cotta lobed and pendanted center medallion on a navy field with an allover large-scale polychrome blossoming vine and palmette design, concentric floral spandrels, all within an abrashed terra-cotta split vine and palmette main border, multiple meandering vine and carnation-patterned minor borders, 12 ft. 3 in. x 8 ft. 10 in.
