Shirvan Carpet, East Caucasus, c. 1900, three large red and royal blue stepped diamonds inset with highly stylized rosettes all on a navy field with small-scale stylized blossoms, birds, and diamonds, royal blue quarter medallion spandrels, all within multiple borders displaying latch-hooked rectangles, octagons, barber pole stripes, "boteh," and a meandering carnation and vine pattern, 11 ft. 6 in. x 6 ft. 4 in.
