"Lori Pambak" Kazak Rug, Southwest Caucasus, late 19th century, the red field with a large ivory octagon inset with a typical apple-green zoomorphic medallion and palmettes, flanked by two latch-hooked octagons inset with a large eight-pointed star and smaller hooked devices, quadrupeds, and a single figure, all within a highly stylized serrated leaf main border, 7 ft. 7 in. x 6 ft.
