Makri Rug, Southwest Anatolia, second half 19th century, the pale gold field inset with a royal blue elongated octagon with a highly stylized carnation and vine pattern, all within a brown wide angular vine and blossom-patterned main border, ivory carnation design minor border, 5 ft. 4 in. x 3 ft. 5 in.
