Kashan Carpet, Central Persia, c. 1930, the royal blue lobed and stepped center medallion with pendants on a red field with an allover small-scale curled and interlacing blossoming vine pattern, concentric spandrels with split vines, all within a royal blue large palmette and split and curled leaf design, multiple floral meander and reciprocal quatrefoil-patterned minor borders, 16 ft. 2 in. x 10 ft. 3 in.
