Serapi Carpet, Northwest Persia, late 19th century, the eight-lobed navy, light blue, ivory, and salmon-colored center medallion with large pendants and issuing spaciously drawn angular vines, serrated leaves and palmettes on a light red field and with ivory spandrels, all within a navy "turtle" main border, 18 ft. 10 in. x 11 ft. 1 in.
