Kashan Rug, Central Persia, c. 1930, the field comprised of an allover design of polychrome vertical stripes inset with contiguous vines enclosing "boteh," all within an ivory border of similar design, multiple light blue serrated leaf, angular vine and rosette-patterned minor borders, 7 ft. 1 in. x 4 ft. 6 in.
