Kazak Prayer Rug, Southwest Caucasus, c. 1900, the highly stylized mirror-image design of latch-hooked devices flanked by a contiguous diamond pattern and octagons on a medium blue ground within a double niche, all on a red field with zoomorphic starburst motifs in each spandrel, all within an ivory serrated leaf and "wineglass" main border, 6 ft. 7 in. x 4 ft. 4 in.
