Karachov Kazak Rug, Southwest Caucasus, c. 1900, the large central ivory octagon-in-square inset with latch-hook motifs, and stylized rosettes with small-scale checkerboard-patterned spandrels all on a navy field, flanked by four large serrated and flattened red hexagonal medallions and polychrome octagons, rosettes, and stylized birds, all within a red serrated leaf, "wineglass" and multiple "T" device main border, 8 ft. 7 in. x 6 ft. 1 in.
