Shirvan "Chi-Chi" Rug, Northeast Caucasus, c. 1900, the navy field inset with alternating rows of polychrome stepped and hooked medallions and eight-pointed stars in octagons, all within a chocolate brown stylized rosette main border, barber pole variant and reciprocal quatrefoil-patterned minor borders, 4 ft. 9 in. x 3 ft. 4 in.
