Description:

Two Chinese Mats, Ningxia, second half 19th century, one mat with a "wan" and fret variant center medallion on a mustard ground with similar spandrels, all within a main border displaying staggered royal and light blue, gold, and ivory rosettes, pearl minor border, 2 ft. 2 in. x 2 ft. 2 in., and one with a central floral medallion enclosed by an allover "rice grain" design, floral spandrels, all within a meandering "T" and cloud-patterned main border, pearl minor border, 4 ft. 3 in. x 2 ft. 2 in.
