Isphahan Rug, Central Persia, early 20th century, the finely drawn lobed and pendanted center medallion issuing an allover design of interlacing vines, serrated leaves, blossoms and palmettes in shades of blue and red on an ivory field, lobed and concentric light salmon and blue spandrels, all within a red alternating blossoming floral palmette and cruciform medallion main border, multiple ivory and navy floral minor borders, silk foundation, 7 ft. 1 in. x 4 ft. 9 in.
