Baluch Main Carpet and Small Rug, Northeast Persia, late 19th century, the main carpet with a royal blue field displaying latch-hooked diamonds inset with eight-pointed stars and "S" motifs flanked by highly stylized serrated blossoms all in light red and brown with ivory highlights, all within a contiguous hooked hexagon-patterned main border, 6 ft. 11 in. x 4 ft. 5 in., the small rug with three hooked octagons flanked by stepped polygons on a royal blue field, all within a meandering "boat" variant border, 5 ft. 7 in. x 3 ft. 7 in.
