Shirvan Rug, East Caucasus, late 19th century, the red field with a row of polychrome latch-hooked diamonds flanked on either side by smaller diamonds of similar design, all within an ivory hooked square main border, multiple minor borders displaying stylized rosettes and a reciprocal trefoil pattern, 4 ft. 9 in. x 3 ft. 10 in.
