Bidjar "Wagireh," Northwest Persia, c. 1890, the wide navy bottom panel inset with a network of curled interlacing vines enclosing polychrome rosettes below a salmon and beige midsection with large palmettes several issuing wild beasts and vines, the top panel with curled and serrated leaves each enclosing a single palmette, all within stylized meandering vine and leaf-patterned side borders, 3 ft. 5 in. x 2 ft. 9 in.
