Kashmir Long Shawl, North India, c. 1840, the black eight-pointed star center medallion enclosed by elongated arched compartments inset with stylized tree forms with a split-lattice vine pattern overtop, empty polychrome lappets at both ends, 11 ft. x 4 ft. 9 in.
