Lavar Kerman Pictorial Rug, Southeast Persia, c. 1900, the cream-colored field depicting Nader Shah on a throne surrounded by courtiers with a small Arabic inscription to the left and flanked by a large flowering urn at the bottom, all within a wide border displaying a woodland hunting scene, multiple medium blue meandering vine and small blossom-patterned minor borders, 7 ft. 3 in. x 4 ft. 6 in.
