Description:

Antique Fereghan Sarouk Rug, West Persia, c. 1870, the ivory field with an allover "Mustafi" design of rosettes issuing large concentric curled and interlacing vines and leaves with smaller blossoms throughout, all within a main border of similar design, multiple meandering carnation and vine minor borders, 6 ft. 2 in. x 4 ft. 2 in.

very minor areas of scattered corrosion, edge wear at right side with several crude repairs, missing approximately one inch at both ends
