Serapi Carpet, Northwest Persia, late 19th/early 20th century, the large ivory lobed and pendanted cruciform medallion on a red field with highly stylized palmettes and angular vines, stepped ivory spandrels with quarter- medallions, all within a navy large rosette, serrated leaf, and angular vine main border, multiple carnation and vine meander minor borders, 13 ft. 7 in. x 9 ft. 3 in.
