Description:

Bakshaish Rug, Northwest Persia, c. 1900, the ivory pendanted center medallion on a mostly empty light red lozenge on an abrashed blue field with eight-pointed stars, stylized rosettes, and latch-hooked devices, all within a pale yellow serrated leaf and rosette main border, 7 ft. 10 in. x 5 ft. 4 in.

both sides reselvaged, minor scattered corrosion, two small areas of red over-stitching, missing approximately half an inch at the bottom
