Kazak Rug, Southwest Caucasus, late 19th century, the red field with two large ivory latch-hooked octagons inset with polychrome shield devices flank a navy stepped cruciform center medallion enclosed by small latch-hooked diamonds inset with eight-pointed stars, all within a medium blue serrated leaf and "wineglass" main border, multiple reciprocal trefoil-patterned minor borders, 7 ft. 5 in. x 5 ft. 4 in.
