Folio with Calligraphy and Miniature Painting, India, 18th/19th century, watercolor on paper, depicting a travelling royal procession with a covered carriage drawn by a cow, surrounded by many courtiers holding banners and a rider on horseback, in a horizontal bordered panel, with two panels of calligraphy at either end surrounded by many notes in the margins, the reverse with a column of two paragraphs of calligraphy, also heavily annotated in the margins, 10 x 5 1/4 in.
