Pair of Blue and White Ginger Jars, China, 19th/20th century, the ovoid forms decorated with figures in a mountain village landscape, the white glaze with a fine crackle, a geometric patterned border at the shoulders, with wooden covers, one carved with a scrolling floral vine, the other with a "three friends of winter" (bamboo, pine, and plum) motif, overall ht. to 8 1/2 in.
