Pair of Blue and White Jars, possibly Japan, bulbous form, with short neck, divided in three sections by four double-ring borders, the body painted with four five-clawed front-facing dragons in four lobed panels, the shoulder with a band of floral and foliate scrolls, and the bottom with a band of eight floral designs, unglazed foot ring, six-character Jiajing mark in a double ring on base, dia. 7 1/4, ht. 6 1/4 in.
