Description:

Hiroshi Yoshida (1876-1950), Numazaki Pasture, Japan, 20th century, depicting a herd of horses grazing and resting in a pasture standing before a distant horizon below clouds, signed in ink "Yoshida," with red artist's seals sairan and jizuri on the left margin, followed by the date, showa sannensaku (made in Showa 3 /1928), followed by the title, Numazaki bokujo, titled and signed in pencil in the bottom margin, 27 7/8 x 31 1/8 in.
