Jade and Silver Trinket Box, China, late 19th/early 20th century, the jade carved in the form of a larger and a smaller gourd on a leafy vine, the center of the gourds hollowed and lined with silver-gilt, the lids also silver-gilt with amethyst finials carved in the form of gourds and leaves, inside of one lid marked "sterling," 2 5/8 x 2 3/4 in.

smaller cover with dent, covers tarnished, few minor chips to smaller amethyst finial, very minor chip to end of one jade leaf.
