Description:

Yixing Covered Teapot, China, rectangular with rounded sides and D-shape handle, medium-thick walls of purplish-brown clay, decorated with incised bamboo on one side and calligraphy in oracle script on the other, the flat cover with a hat-shape knob with three steam holes, marked "Wang Mengjun" on base, ht. 5 3/4, wd. 7 in.
