Pair of Export Blue and White Porcelain Lanterns, China, 19th century or later, in two parts, with a six-sided oval shade surmounted with a crown-shaped mouth and a six-sided three-tiered pedestal-shape candle holder, the shade decorated with flowers, figures, and landscapes on six circular reserves on six reticulated rectangular panels, four bands of reticulated floral designs encircling the mouth, shoulder, bottom, and the mid-tier of the pedestal, all against a floral ground in underglaze blue, both slightly different with decoration motifs, overall ht. 15 1/2 in.

in good condition with minor firing cracks, pockmarks, clay impurities.
