Tamura Kinsei (b. 1887) Mouhitsu Hosoji Kutani Censer, Japan, 19th/20th century, near square, depicting birds and flowers on one side, another depicting a landscape with a fisherman crossing a bridge, all four sides with Saiji micro-calligraphy with signatures and seals, the cover with a lion-form finial, "Kinsei" mark on base, ht. 5 3/4 in.
