Signed and dated "B Champney/91" l.l., identified on an exhibition label from the
Boston Art Club and on letterhead from Denenberg Fine Arts (no location given), both affixed to the frame backing paper.
Charcoal with whiting on paper, 21 5/8 x 17 1/87 in. (55.0 x 43.5 cm), framed.
Condition: Acid burn, toning, sheet laid down on paperboard support.

N.B. The typed information on Denenberg Fine Arts letterhead provides the following provenance: Mrs. Albert Champney Wendling, Mrs. Carl Peterson, Mr. Robert Cleaves.
