Peggy Bacon (American, 1895-1987)
Outing (Munich, 1931), Signed "Peggy Bacon" in pencil l.r., titled, inscribed, and dated l.l., with a stamp from The Downtown Gallery and two date stamps on the reverse. Lithograph on Rives wove paper, image size 9 1/4 x 8 in. (23.5 x 20.3 cm),matted, unframed.
Condition: Small restored loss to sheet at u.l. corner, tape and glue residue to edges of sheet, hinged to back mat at two places on the reverse.
Estimate $800-1,200
The date stamps on the reverse read "NOV. 25, 1931 - FEB. 8 1935" and 'OCT 1 - 1935" There is also a notation of "100." in the l.r. corner of the reverse.
