Description:

Two Blue Pressed Glass Boat Pattern Open Salts, Stourbridge Flint Glass Works, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, c. 1835-45, including a medium blue, Neal BT 2; and a deep cobalt blue, Neal BT 2, (minor chips),ht. 1 1/2, wd. 3 5/8, dp. 2 in.

Provenance: Purchased from Louis Lyons, May 6, 1963.

Both salts have small chips on the top edge, the deep cobalt blue salt has a small chip on the corner of the triangular extension on the bottom.
